Jijin Elippatta

Jijin had degrees in Accounting, Business, and Arts. He tried different paths. He did what was expected. He spent years living someone else's life. Everyone around him was moving forward — building careers, ticking boxes, doing what they were supposed to do. And he was just… there. Watching. Waiting. Not knowing how to join in.

So at 34, he made the scariest decision of his life. He let go of the familiar and followed something he'd pushed aside for years — convinced it wasn't practical, wasn't sensible. But he couldn't ignore it anymore. He enrolled in the Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) at the University of Queensland. And for the first time, he felt like he was where he belonged. This wasn't just study — he had found his language.

He knew what it was like to carry a weight no one sees. The pressure to succeed. The exhaustion of performing strength. The loneliness of smiling when you're falling apart. He saw it everywhere — in himself, in his friends, in his family. People quietly struggling, all holding it together, all exhausted.

That's when Theeram was born. A space where we could stop pretending. A place to speak freely, in our own language. A place to exhale.
Jijin built Theeram for people like him — and for people like us.

Theeram is his heart's work. And it's yours, whenever you're ready.
